Qummo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

No ads No tracking No data collected COPPA-minded

Qummo is a visual routine app operated by parents and caregivers for children. We built it so that your family's data never leaves your family. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means.

The short version

Children's privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Qummo is a parent-operated tool: adults set up the app, create routines, and manage the subscription behind a grown-up PIN. Children use a simplified, almost text-free mode that contains no purchases, no external links, no ads, and no social features.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account, an email address, or any registration for anyone — adult or child.

The one thing that leaves your device — and why it's safe

Some optional features (routine suggestions and short encouragement messages) are generated by an AI service running on our servers. When you use them, the request may include at most a child's first name and non-identifying context such as a routine type and a streak count.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store payment details. Purchases are gated behind the grown-up PIN.

iCloud sync

If iCloud is enabled, Qummo syncs your family's data between your own devices using your private iCloud database. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and encryption; we have no access to it.

Your choices

Changes

If we ever change how Qummo handles data, we will update this page and the app's App Store privacy label before the change takes effect. We will never weaken the promises above for children's data.
